disappointed that on the Sunday morning we were given only continental breakfast and not the full english expected.

Thank you for you kind review, sorry that breakfast on New Years day was not a to your liking, but I think you will find that most hotels do continental on this particular day as the guests would prefer to have extra time in bed after a heavy night, the breakfast hours were lenghthend to accommodate this.

our room wasn't clean you pretty much showered in the dark the bathroom was like something from god knows how many years ago and the room didnt look like it had been hoovered since then either! crumbs and dirt on the floor, beds poor. hotel doesnt have a bar at all! so basically you just have your room, and breakfast which we cant comment on as we didnt bother going for it, judging by the rest of hotel we didnt think would be up to much! not worth the money, stayed in better for less. Read less

I am sorry you were not happy with the room, the room was inspected before you arrived by my husband (who is fairly dilligent about cleanlness and he passed this room ok for occupation), as for no bar if you took the time to read the description of the guest house then you would have known that there was no bar,I suggest you take more care in reading the decription of accommodations before you decide to book then you would not have anthing to complain about, I do not feel an appology is needed

Great location and had free parking. Limited availability in the area at short notice but the Bromley had one room spare. Good filling breakfast set us up for the day and our long drive home to Dorset

Clean, extremely friendly hotel staff, good location with car parking.
Dislikes:
Minor criticism, the furniture in the room was a little dated, but this did not adversely impact upon the quality of my break.
